This little butterfly is looking for her forever home. A Cramer’s Eighty Eight Dianthria Clemente butterfly painted from my personal specimen collection, is a tiny beauty in person. The background is gilded in composition silver leaf with black background on a 4x4 canvas. The butterfly is painted from observation using interactive acrylic paint so that the shimmer from the gilded background shines lightly through the delicate wings. A touch of iridescent highlight brings the magic of this piece alive. One of a kind, and a stunning little addition to any collection.
